India is, indeed, incredible. Enjoy my photos and enjoy your own journey to this wonderful place
The Taj is not the cliché I imagined, it is wonderful. So was the spectacular Red Fort and the luxurious Oberoi.
This is a city of ritual and joy. I loved Varanasi. Make sure watch the videos at the end and you will "hear" Varanasi, which should not be missed.
Jaipur has fabulous gem shopping and the wonderful Amber Fort. We enjoyed the Raj Vilas. Some of my favorite shots were here.
Jodhpur was one of my favorite places. The most fabulous fort, a polo game as private guests of the Maharaja, and the best shopping.
Lake Piccola was brimming with water and the photo ops are wonderful. Udaivilas can't be beat.
We enjoyed Mumbai. Very cosmopolitan, but there is no zoning in this town!
Ellora caves are monolithic caves--ones carved out of a mountain with nothing brought in. Carved from the 8th to the 12 century by Jains, Hindus and Buddists.
Delhi is a bustling, noisy, frenetic city. It grows on you.
